Ax

What Scholastic Says:
Personality:
Straightforward, Brilliant, No sense of humor (but funny anyways)

If you like Ax, get out now. I will only serve to personally insult you and annoy you.

Ax.

Is.

My.

Least.

Favorite.

Character.

Al of his books, with the exception of 38, I have hated.

His stuttering isn't funny. It's annoying. In fact, I rarely find his character amusing. If they needed a six or eight year old in the Animorphs, they'd give Sara the Escafil device and have a Barbie party.

You'd think after four years he'd have basic control over his human morph. But no. Even though I personally get boyed with the range of a new toy in 3 months, Ax still pees his pants each time he becomes dear old Phillip.

Smart? No. I think he's a mildly clever spoiled Andalite who is probably capable of doing minor computer work at his homeworld. That's probably equal to me being able to program a VCR and being able to change the wallpaper on my computer.

HE HAS NO PERSONALITY.

Ax is a bland, aloof character whose only characterization besides being a whiny selfish inconsiderate jerk was shown with his crush on Estrid.

I can't put myself in Ax's shoes. I can't figure out what he's feeling.

No, Scholastic, he's not funny. He's about as funny as a dead horse.

He's not intelligent.

He's an animated stick when he's an Andalite (not unlike Michael Caine)and incredibly incapable of controlling his morphs.

Is it bias because I don't like him? Of course it is! If you like Ax, tell me why. If it's a good reason, maybe I won't strike you off as not possessing sanity.

If Ax were a food, he'd be: Onions
Makes me cry when I come across them, I can't stand being near them but other people seem to like them.
